I am Vardhan, a first-year Computer Science PhD student at the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign.
Before starting my PhD, I was on a year-long research internship at Brunswick Corporation's I-Jet Lab, where I worked on marine autonomous vehicles. I completed my master's degree in Computer Science from UIUC, where I helped develop a course track for the data science program on data curation, and worked with Prof. Allen Renear on knowledge represenation techniques in scientifc datasets and semantic reasoning
I am interested in computer vision, machine learning, robotics, and representation learning.
Not so long ago, I also completed my MS in Civil & Environmental Engineering from UIUC after earning my undergraduate (B.Tech) at Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology, Bhopal, in Civil Engineering.
It is not knowledge, but the act of learning, not possession but the act of getting there, which grants the greatest enjoyment.
